Following the transition of the residential lending portfolio to GE Money, Superbank closed down its banking operations on 5 November 2006.

Unclaimed Monies

As a result of the closure any remaining SuperSaver or SuperAccess accounts were closed between 11 September and 13 October 2006. If at the time of closing, your account had an outstanding balance, we are holding it as Unclaimed Monies.

How to make a claim

After Friday 3 November 2006 claims can be made by contacting Westpac Service Direct, on 0800 221 082. You will need to identify yourself as the rightful owner and provide details of an account for the monies to be credited to.

Any monies that remain unclaimed after 5 May 2007 will be submitted to the Commissioner of Inland Revenue.
